Workshop Opening:

  • The facilitator opens the session by welcoming all students and introducing the key concepts of module 1.

Activity 1: The dangers of technology addictions?

  • The facilitator asks the participants “What is addiction?” and starts a discussion. 
  • At the end of the discussion you provide answers continuing the presentation.
  • The facilitator groups the categories into 6 macro areas.
  • The facilitator shows a video from Youtube

The facilitator briefly introduces the definition of technology addictions and their types. 

  • The facilitator introduces the concept “The technology addictions”

Activity 3: Do you know how to protect ourselves from technology addictions?

  • The facilitator asks participants two questions for reflection and then provides advice through an infographic.

Workshop Close and Feedback

  • The facilitator submits a case study to the participants. 
    (Find and print the case study)
  • After the participants have read the case study, they start a group reflection using the 3-5 questions of the presentation as guidelines.
